Any way to adapt a 99-03 Ford lightning roots blower to a 5.0 HO?
The Ford lightning roots style blowers are all over ebay for $600.00. They say if you have the skills you can mount it on almost any car:rolleyes: .........Does anyone know of a company that makes an adapter.
If not I will just stick to my original plan which is a Novi 1000. I am looking to run mid 7's in the 1/8th. Later, |
Not sure of any companies that make a kit, but that doesnt mean that you can't fab one up.
Theres a guy over on the corral that mounted a SC thunderchicken blower on the passenger side of his 5.0L and custom made the inlet and outlet tubing. I'll try to find more info on it later today, and find where I saved the pictures as well. BUT I really think it would be a lot less of a headache to just go with the Novi, especially if you can find a used one. I've seen used ones go for around $1200 for the comlpete kit. Not to shabby for an awesome "entry level" blower. check out www.novipower.com for more info on them |
Thanks for the reply, Yeah the Novi 1000 is looking better and better to me.

Dark,
www.kenne-bell.com I know its a twin screw, but the intake is what you'd need to do for a roots too, I think. Unless you like the on the side of the motor look. |
