Edelbrock 6025 Heads
I hope that there is someone that can give me some advice on the Edelbrock 6025 heads, I have a set and was planning on putting them on my 347, that is until I went to the edelbrock trailer at bradenton, I was told that I will have piston to valve clearance issues with these heads using a stock piston. Does anyone know anything about this? These are 2.02/ 1.60 heads using pedastal mount rockers. The pistons are Sealed Power flats with 4 valve reliefs. I am hoping for some sort of better news.. If not,, is there anyone interested in a set of new Performer Heads? Thanks to anyone that can lead me in the right direction.. You can email me at wcdvr@aol.com

Re: Edelbrock 6025 Heads
You'll be fine with cams up to about 228@.050 and lifts of about .540". A piston to valve check is always a good idea though. I'd put one of the heads on, do the P-V check and then decide whether or not you've got to get rid of them. I've bolted them on a stock bottom end though with cams in this range and had no problems whatsoever.
