Default Safe amount of nitrous. And help ?

What would my 2500 car with these mods: Ford Racing Long Block, GT40X Heads, B-303 Cam, Road demon 625 cfm Carb, Edelbrock Performer RPM "air gap" intake, 1.7 Cobra Roller Rockers, Hooker super competition headers, Flo-tech exhaust, Ford Racing 5 speed Tranny

possibly run with a 100 shot of nitrous ? If I had traction ? What would be a safe amount ?

i know you can run a 100 shot and probably a 250 shot with proper timing and fuel. Here in lubbock, that would be good for mid 12's. I have heard people say 11's, but i havent seen it yet. There were a couple of guys that played with a 250 shot and netted mid 11's. There motor did not have the mod list you have though. I am trying to figure out a safe way to run a 200 shot with full timing using higher octane fuel instead of reducing timing. if you hear of anything let me know

Safe amount depends on the engine, do you have forged internals??

Also whats it matter if you can run a 200 shot or not?? My friends 4.0L V-6 Ranger runs a 100 shot and ran quicker then when he had 150 shot.

Start off with a small shot and work your way up. You'll eventually find the optimal N2O shot for your combo. And make sure the check your plugs often, if not after every run, and make adjustments from there.

I played it conservative and put the 100 hp jets in but never took it to the track but it definately made me giggle. I was going to throw the 180 jets in and take it to the track to see if I could get an 11 sec et before I put it into storage for three years but it didn't happen.

Our one shop car ran some powershot solinoids without any jets in at all around a 200 shot without any probs but that was a low mile frged internal FI car.

What does your car run on just motor?
