Question Tranny Swap

I have a 86 Mustang LX. I am interested in swapping the slush box for a manual, The motor is a 2.3 if you know what all i might need or how i should go about it, Your info would greatly help.

I would look for a turbo coupe, or svo mustang to use the transmission. First gear has a 4.1 ratio which makes it take off rather quick even with low gears. These type of tranny's already have a short throw hurst shifter specially designed for them.
