Ordered nitrous kit....anything else i need?
Alright i'm actually in the process of ordering my kit right now and here it is:
Nitrous Works 50-175 adjustable kit Edelbrock bottle heater Edelbrock liquid filled nitrous gauge Nitrous works nitrous purge kit I know i'll need cooler range plugs for this, but is there anything else i'll need that they may leave out of the kit? Will i need any braided line to run the purge? Thanks,

Don't think you want braided line for your purge. Inside the braided line is rubber and the nitrous will play the part of Mr. Freeze when you purge - might crack the rubber.
Our purge kit came with a short piece of 3/26" metal brake line - we added a t-connector and additional line for a dual snort coming out of the cowl - looks pretty cool when you purge your system. |

The NitrousWorks purge kit comes with a short length of copper tubing (smaller than 3/16", unsure of the actual dia.) and a compression style fitting. If you need a piece longer than what comes with the kit, I image you could find some at the local hardware store, along with the other necessary misc. fittings to run the dual outlet purge setup (if you want to).
Other than the above, it sounds like you've got everything covered... maybe a fuel pressure safety switch? Oh, if you have a stick-car, I'd highly recommend wiring up an MSD RPM window switch that turns on/shuts off the nitrous system at a user specified RPM range. It'll save your head gaskets when you spray in first gear on radial tires and bounce off the rev-limiter! It's one of the better safety items that you can use with a nitrous system.... nitrous oxide + rev-limiter = BOOM!!! |

Thanks,
I got all the things i ordered and found out that i need to buy a nitrous bottle pressure safety valve and i'll go to a hardware store or something and match up a longer copper line with the tiny one i recieved in the kit. I'll probably also save up for some kind of window switch, for now i'm only going to use the kit in 2nd gear and up with slicks. ...next is the fun part, wiring and installing it all
