Best way to make unboosted power??
I know this is a bit off topic, but I was wondering if anyone has a built 4.6L DOHC spinning to 8K+ RPM and matching components?
Only reason I ask is that I may need to buy new rods and pistons and am thinking about going all forged (stock crank). Would the stock crank and block take it? Valvetrain? Anything else need to be changed? I am not really wanting to SC or turbo the engine, and would instead like to make a high-winding NA motor instead. Any thoughts? Oh, the car is a '97 Cobra. Thanks Mike |
