Default Compression

I am going to be building a 351W blown for my 1980 Mazda RX-7. It's kinda of a Ford. I'm going to be using a Dart block and all Trickflow components from the crank on up so it will be a solid platform. I just am not sure on what compression ratios I should use. I want between 600-800 hp without nitros. I know it can be easily achivable with this setup. I haven't picked out a blower because I wasn't really sure whch one to select with all the different boost settings.

Also is a blower any better than a turbo cahrger?
What are the pros and cons between them?

Thanks

If you decide to go blower, build your motor around a 8.5:1 or 9.0:1 ratio. Thats what most of the renegade guys build (me included). Vortech YSi is my recommended blower to use to make that kind of HP.

What size engine are you using? Looking at 351 right now but may go to 302/347 with the 4 bolt main from Dart.

My engine is a A4 , .060 bore with a 3" stroke. 310 ci . Don't look at the signature, I have a YSi on it now. I just need more track time to make it work.
