I have spec'd both kits and both are priced about even, i just wanted some imput on which kit is better in other peoples minds. The motor it will be put on is a 331 stroker with 8.5:1 cr.

I would think turbos are alot more then superchargers unless the procharger you refer to is a high PSi model .. but all in all turbos are a more effifient form of forced induction... you're using waste energy as opposed to taking away from the engines usable power...

Which Twin kit are you talking about? I wonder if you are talking about ITS turbo. It is not what you think. It does not come with any fuel or ECU mods, whereas the Procharger does. Also a turbo kit COULD have more problems in a daily driven car.

Why twins instead of a good single? The properly sized single for your setup will spool fast and make enough power on a lower amount of boost than a supercharger to split any block in two anyway.
As far as if I had to decide between the two, oh wait, I already made that decision .

91GTturbo made a really good point. Why not just find a single turbo that is well matched to your combo. One of the guys up here in alberta has a single turbo setup and his car is mad fast. I think the best run i saw him make was a 8.34 in the 1/4. Once that thing spools WATCH OUT. So id definately put some consideration into that.

The Procharger will be much easier to set up and IMHO is easier to tune, you can keep your current exhaust setup too. The turbo will have a much fatter powerband though. I'd go with the P1SC and the 2 core intercooler. You'll still have a setup that can make more power than the block can take and since the power comes on as the boost builds, you won't have as much trouble finding traction as you will with a turbo.

the chips and fuel mod that come with a pro charger are cheese dick. you could have the car dyno tuned with a turbo and make lots more power then a supercharger. and you dont need to buy a turbo kit? you can make one for a lot less. and you can make it for what you want. single turbo is the way to go.
