question about supercharger
I have been planning on purchasing a blower for my 01 when I sell my 90 gt. I found this kit at a decent price, but it doesnt include injectors, fuel pump, or computer tuning (fmu I assume). What would be a good size injector, pump, and a good fmu for a basically stock 01 gt with this kit? I dont want to get into crazy power levels, I just want some extra pep without the bottle. Any suggestions are appreciated. BTW, the quote I got was $2499 for the kit. If there are any comperable kits or the same kit for a better deal that you know of, let me know. Thanks.

The main problem your going to run into with a 01 car is the returnless fuel system. You will have to have a chip with your kit, in addition to any fuel upgrades. A lot of shops putting down big numbers with these newer cars or ditching the stock fuel systems and putting in a return type fuel system.

I wouldn't say there are necessarily any problems, but guys looking for big numbers are looking at tunablilty issues. If you go go Vortechs website, they list a kit for your car with injectors and a EEC chip for $3900 retail. They estimate the power at 350+ hp with that kit. Shop around for the best price, but I'd be willing to bet your going to spend at least 3k putting a blower on that car.
