Default 144or 174 powercharger

i was thinkin bout gettin the holley powercharger for my 289 which is stock cept for the cam
i was wondeing what i would need to have it ready togo out of the box and kinds of stuff that they wont give me and will my motor take it its pretty old but i was told sc were able to work on stock motors(cast pistons)
