6lbs. of boost will = what ???
Im still going crazy with what I want to do with my car. Ive got a little over 2 grand burning a hole in my pocket and I need to do something with my car. With the Sig I have below what will a cheap 6lb. vortech do with my 1/4 mile numbers?? Im either gonna put a little vortech on, or change the heads to AFR 165's and intake to a Performer RPM. Ive been hearing that the outcome will be about the same with either setup that I goto. Are the AFR 165's really that much better than the Windsor Jr's????? I know that I can throw the bottle on it again and run in the low 11's again but im keeping away from that very very habit forming happy gas. Any iniput would be helpfull at this time. I really think im gonna go crazy with all of the options I have. I just want to run in the 113 MPH range on motor with a stock bottom end 302 with 165's. If that isnt possible then I guess boost it is.

why not go with the better long-term outcome? basically screw the SC for now and continue to build up your motor...then slap on an SC later and have the best of both worlds!

I would throw on 5 lbs of a-trim, and keep the jr. heads, just port the crap out of them, after i get my gt-40's on, im saving for a charger.
then you can swap pulleys and get 8 lbs. i think i could hit 115-118 with your combo, ported heads, and a-trim, 36lb injectors and fuel system. jmo... good luck

There is a guy around here that has a full weight lx going low 12's @ 116 with f-cam and gt-40 x heads, dont know how much more it has, but he's on the motor.
i just wouldnt upgrade heads twice, thats just me, after i got some flowing heads, id go with what you havent done yet...... poweradder. And dang those sc's sound mean. if i had 2 grand, id also consider a turbo, i mean if you want to trap 120+

I know you said you do not want to go the nitros route, but you could get 200hp for around $700 for a full setup. Then get a better intake like Trick Flow or Holley. And last I would get 4.10 gears.

Yeah, Ive had the bottle on it before (150 shot) and it ran a 11.51 @ 121. It was nice but buying that bottle 2 times a week was getting tooo expensive. Even with a friend filling it, the lowest he could go was 22 bucks a bottle. I figure I could get the AFR's and then sell the Winsor Jr's to make up some money. The same with the intakes too. And DAMN, that is a GOOD price for a Novi 1000 !!!!!!!!

Do what I am going to do. Get a 408 and slap all the stuff you have on it. Then you would have a solid fondation to boost from.

We have similar mods, though I have GT-40Y heads and a Steeda #19 cam. Here is what 6lbs of boost/7" crank pulley/power pipe from a Powerdyne did for my car:
http://www.msnusers.com/MustangMembe...hoto&PhotoID=5 My air-fuel maxed around 11:1 on that run. With only 6lbs of boost, no crank pulley, and no power pipe my car did this on the dyno (the first and lowest run was done prior to any tuning): http://www.msnusers.com/MustangMembe...hoto&PhotoID=8 Not sure how well your heads flow but with a good supercharger and tune, you shouldn't have a problem putting up good numbers.
