I actually like the way it sounds stock... a new X\H-pipe would make it sound even meaner.

If you want to go with an aftermarket cat-back, I would suggest Dynomax or Borla...

I'm partial to Magnaflow myself.

Borla makes some nice kits if you have the cash$$$$ I ran a dynomax cat back on my camaro and after 3 years it is still as good as new. Granted I live in Florida and only drive the car on weekends. But Dynomax offers the best bang for the buck INMO.

Unhappy

I HAD Ford Racing Performance Parts' SVO sidepipes and they were WICKED! I know steeda make something similar for the 99-02 Stangs. Supposedly you get more horsepower going with side exhaust.

That's completely subjective and based on personal likes and dislikes. I suggest just listening to different exhaust set-ups at the local cruise spot or race track. I wouldn't listen to them on the computer, because most often the computers speakers can't accurately reproduce the sound.
