![]() right now I have shortie headers and the regular h-pipe that goes with it around the stock T5 trans. The T5s been ripped out twice already so Im lookin at getting one of the TKOs. I heard the bell housing is bigger on the TKOs and it was overall shorter in lenght??? I also want to go with longtube headers and the shorty xpipe.
With the TKO, will the 87-93 x pipes marketed fit around the TKO without modifing them? Oh yeah, I have a 90 GT by the way. thx for the help. |

![]() If you run a TKO, you need a different clutch and yoke for the driveshaft. They have different spline counts (higher) to handle higher horsepower applications. They do not have larger bellhousings and you x-pipe will fit just fine. The longtubes can be a little bit of a hassle, and if you run a Lakewood bellhousing, things get tight real quick.
