Question NOS 100 Shot and 24# inj. Help!!!

Here is my setup:

306
Ultradyne Custom Cam .565 lift
Edelbrock 5.0 Intake
24# injectors
AFR 165CC heads
NOS stage II inline fuel pump and 190 intank
9.5:1 compression

I am not sure what the horsepower is naturally aspirated. I really don't want to buy bigger injectors. I would like to use my 24#.

The Fuel System Analyzer said I can run up to 390 horsepower and still be safe, but I have to run 80psi on the current injectors. Does this mean I need to adjust my Regulator to 80 PSI?

Thanks for replies.

I maybe wrong here, but doesn't the NOS dry kit (I am assuming that the 100hp kit your using is dry) close off your fuel reutrn to boost fuel pressure while on the squeez? If so, then you would not have to worry about playing w/ regulator settings. 24lbers should be fine (seen plenty of guys w/ similar power range on NOS w/ same inj), but you will need to check plugs for any signs of detonation or lean condition. My brother had great luck w/ the NOS Big Shot kit on his Saleen w/ stock shortblock, so even though you didn't ask you can eliminate fear of shortblock failures up to 450hp. Hope this helps!

I should not worry about going lean???

I still don't understand why the Fuel Analizer said to run 80psi pressure on my 24# injectors. My regulator is set at 40psi. Anything higher and it runs super rich. The only thing that makes sense is that my NOS in line fuel pump puts out about 80psi of pressure, but I think with the regulator set at 40psi I would be running lean. Here is what I typed into the Fuel Analizer program:

horsepower level: 390
Injector size : #24
Induction: : Nitrous

Then it spits out, I need to run 77-79psi on my current injector size. In the safe zone! If I increase my regulator to 77psi, my car will run like crap Naturally Aspirated. I hope someone can clue me in. Thanks.

When you get a nos system and when it is actavited it uses vacume to turn the fuel pressure up. When it is turned off it goes back to normal.

do you have a nitrous gauge??
I have one on my hood. i spray 75-100 and on the juice my fuel pressure goes to 80 psi.
I use a 190 fuel pump and stock 19 lb. inj.
