Was Just Wondering
These are my current modifications on my 1990 GT. I was wondering how much more horse power over stock have I made, and could I have chosen better parts and made more horse power. Just curious about your opinion.

I'd guess maybe 40-60hp over stock. Those Darts are a big help. I might be a tad on the conservative side. I'm not one to believe any advertising hyperbole about power gains so I always stick with being a little on the safe side.

That looks about right to me. About 40-50 horses over the stock engine. If you're going to buy more I'd go with some 373's-4;10 gears and a small came like the E-303.

I figure that you should be 55-70hp up from stock.
20 hp from the intake and TB 15hp from the exhaust 25-30 hp from the heads and the bump in compression from the 58cc chambers of the windsor jr's Go with 373 gears, a 75mm mass air, and 24lb/hr injectors. I'd go bigger than the E303 cam though. ------------------ GT-40 heads (ported, polished, + milled), B303 cam, 1.7rr's, JE pistons, Offy intake, Carter AFB 625cfm carb, Flowtech 1 5/8" shortys, Flowtech X-pipe, MAC Flowpath exhaust, MAC pulleys, 373's, subframes, Eibachs+Tokicos, B+M ripper, FMS Clutch, Zoom Quadrant+cable, 17" CSA Ultra rims, 235/45ZR17 Yokohama AVS S4's, MSD 6A ignition+coil, FMS 9mm wires, Carbed, Naturally Aspirated, and Nasty! |
