Default Turbo info needed

Just lets pretend I could fab up anything, but have no money, and I want to turbo my 460 efi'd ford. I was thinking of using two off a turbocoupe. I know they make 14pounds stock. All I want is about 10 pounds. I think they are "t0-4's" same as grand nationals. Would this work? Or any other factory turbo I might find in a junk jard or on ebay for cheap? And how do you size a turbo? What are the numbers? I hear of .83 afr ratio, or somthing like that, when people talk about them, what does that mean? I hope some out there can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

You need to spend a little money on some nice parts. you can make a okay turbo kit for 2000$ if you got a turbo off of a F350 and turn the headers backwards then a muffler shop can make the pipes that you will need. just call around and see who knows the most. you will have full boost by 3000 rpm easy. get a blow off valve and a bleeder valve and you will be set. that is the cheapest way to go. but you can up gread later and it will kill every thing. it is the best way to go.

I was think of somthing like 500 bucks. I still think I can do it. I was thinking of the truck turbo too, just wasn't sure of boost limits, when they would kick in, or would it "max out"

turbo coupes came with t-3's the 5spd's had .63a/r housings and the autos have smaller ones i think .46?. you would definitely need two of those for a big block, that may not even be enough. you are going to have a helluva time fitting them in your engine bay, i dont think you will have enough room to flip the headers so you will need "turbo headers" that are already made.
if you had a 5.0 in the car i would say you could do it for $500 but with a big block in it i think you will have a hard time doing it for cheap.

i would buy a kit thats already made with a t-76 or pt-88.

OR JUST SPRAY IT
