Default supercharger problems!!

1989 very, headers,x-pipe, bigger tb, bigger mass air meter, powerdyne supercharger (6psi), 30lbs injectors, 255lbs fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, ngk spark plugs, stock h/i/c

alright well i have listed everything i can think of, my problem is that my car has trouble idleing. and its runnign way to rich, when i step on it it chugs, it feels like as if its missing, but i have checked the plugs and wires. the plugs are gapped at .40, and the fuel pressure is at 36lbs, timming at 6 degrees.

is it possible that the injectors are too big? what can i do? i need help!! im at the breaking point, the car ran better without the supercharger, should i sell it all and go back to stock? any advice will help!!

Is this maf calibrated for the injectors? The 30# injectors should be fine in size. Also stock cam?

There's half of your problem. Put the timing back to the stock 10 degrees. Your not at much risk of detonation with a 6 psi blower.
Thre are a few other things to help with the idle also.

I say chances are it is Rich, not lean. Put the timing as suggested to 10 degrees. Put the idle Fuel Presure back to stock, and gap the plugs to .35.

You need to have the car tuned. With all those mods, you're well beyond what the stock processor is capable of managing. I recently tuned a VERY similar setup. In the door at 257RWHP, out the door at 345 RWHP with much improved driving manners.

My Kenne Bell tune was the same.

In Kauffman Motorsports at 300.45 out the door at 394.85. But yet KB says no way was the tune bad. Go Figure.

I am running a base timing of 13 degrees and use a btm for hot days but on a cool day I can run the btm with 0 retard with 6psi.(41psi fuel pressure with 42lb injectors, no fmu) I have never heard anyone turn the base down as low as 6 degrees. I figure your timing is your problem but you should also adjust your throttle body idle screw and set the TPS.
