EFI + Supercharger vs. Carbureted + Supercharger/Nitrous
Basic scenario:
I am kinda planning on switching to fuel injection (and much other stuff, but the Windsor stays) and adding supercharger. per cubic inch, I know I can get more hp/tq out of carbureted, but there are many advantages with going with EFI. Many of you guys know the advantages/disadv. of the two systems cause you've experienced both. Basically, I need advice/input/opinions on my switching from carb to EFI. I will go with blower instead of nitrous and believe it does better with EFI (and is more common?)+ there are other advantages like hooking up computer system. Have you seen the article in MM&FF about the Super Stallion? Well, that's the kind of setup I'm talking about. Any and all input is appreciated. Not really sure where you got the idea that you can make more power with a carb than fuel injection. If you want a blower then I think FI is the way to go. With a carb its just going to be to hard to tune it in right. With FI its a little easy to tune it in I think. I've seen a couple of cars with procharges and a carb and I have never been impressed they never run right.

If I was you I would go with a set of good aluminum heads and mill them for compression. Get a good cam to match up with it and it looks like you have a good intake/carb/exhaust setup already. That should push you near 380-400hp if you do it all right, and I think it would be better and cheaper than the other routes.
