Default Twin turbos on stock bottom end?

How much PSI could the stock bottom end handle?

Found a good TT kit for ~2800 and I am seriously considering it (http://membersites.namezero.com/team...ions/id12.html)

Anything I should consider before ordering the kit from them? (Going to be a while anyways)...

Well it matters on the on the HP more than any thing really I would not try to make over 450Hp you will need to make sure you have the right fuel setup.

I think that would be bad *****. I may actually consider doing that myself rather then goin with the supercharger. I figure mine goes mid to high 12's now it will really fly with a couple t3/t4 turbos on it. I raced a nissan altima the other day that had one t3/t4 turbo on it at 9 lbs. of boost he ran a 13.90. So with two of them on a 12 sec mustang it should fly. The only twin turbo fox body that i know of is the guy that owns E.L.D performance here in crofton, MD. Its a trailor queen but hes been in the 7's and its a unibody car. He runs so much boost it actually lifts the heads up off the block enough to lose a quart of coolant every pass! Its crazy to watch it go down the track. I'd like to get some more info on that kit. Let me know if u find out anything else or if ya decide to get it.

The comapny in your link is ITS Turbo from near where i live. The owner has been to the track many times this year. He told me that the stock bottem end will live as long as you leave the boost at the preset levels. I have not seen him bring out a TT mustang to the track, but have seen a few civics and one 99 Grand AM with his work. It looks pretty nice. But i dont know if you have to get rid of your AC and PS. I will ask him next time i see him.

What do you think I would be at with my current mods + the TT setup?

Any other kits I should consider?

In your sig, it says thinking about aftermarket heads, so I'm assuming your still running stock heads. If so and with the proper fuel system and a good dyno tune you should be able to run about 8 lbs on pump gas. With race gas, you'll be looking at about 12 lbs. 8 lbs should put you slightly over the 400 rwhp mark and I going to guess 470ish torque.

As far as the $2800 for their kit, right now it's the best deal out there unless you pick up a used kit from another manufacturer. Turbo Technology and Cartech (now under new and seems to be better owners) both make great kits. Anything you get from them is going to be about $4000 minimum.

Twins are nice although they do take up alot of room under the hood. A good single kit will make enough hp to split the factory block in two anyway. A friend made 494 rwhp and 536 ft/lbs or torque on 9 lbs of boost on a stock bottom end with a single. It's his every day driver. Idles like stock and almost sounds it too, until he gets int he boost anyway. There are some guys making in the 500 rwhp range on a stock bottom end. I personally wouldn't do it, but some get away with it.

Thanks for the reply. You think I can keep P/S with the TT setup?

I can stand to lose the A/C, as it never gets unbearably hot here and my commute is pretty short. But I would definately want the P/S as this car is still a daily driver.

I would check how complete the kit is. Be prepared to run into unexpected costs, and your going to have to beef up your fuel system.

You'll probably want some dyno time and a chip after you do the install as well.

I've yet to see a twin kit that allowed you to keep the ac, the ps I'm not sure about. Check out this link to a guy that just got back from having his dynoed. If you read further down it will tell you how much boost he was running and it was on the stock heads.
