Wet NOS blowing up intake manifolds?

I hear about wet systems puddling in the intake manifold and causing backfires that can break the manifold. I want to buy an NX wet nozzle kit, but am worried about blowing-up my intake. Any thoughts? - Gary

yeah I heard if you use nos you shoot flames out the back of your car and the engine explodes.

No , Lots of people run wet kits , there is evidence to point to dry kits being potentially more harmfull to a motor (not enough fuel at wot with some of the larger dry kits)

Puddleing can only occur if you have more fuel and air with n2o than the motor can injest. Ive only seen it when a system has been activated when the car wasnt running , at that point its remove the throttle body hose prop the throttle body open and wait.

also puddleing doesnt cause the backfireing but puddleing and a back fire can cause money problems.

running a normal comertially available kit shouldnt cause problems its when running a full race or modified kit that problems occur.

Thanks for the info...I saw a NX kit in Muscle Mustangs rag blow a plastic 4.6 2v intake, I think that car was running a standard jetting. But I have seen nothing but good results on the forums so I am going to do it. I have a dry system currently and it is not very consitent.
