Default Whats so bad about a Powerdyne

What is really so bad about a Powerdyne. I know they are cheaper than all the others but Ford does sell them in their parts catalog. I had one on my car and it ran pretty dam well and my friend is thinking about sell me the whole kit for 800-1000 bucks. I don't think it sounds like to bad of a deal.

Thanks,
Brian

Tow things come to mind right away....bracketry and belt tension. The PD bracketry is the weakest out there. Under load the brackets flex badly and cause the blower to shred and throw belts. The tension is soo poorly designed that its nearly impossible to get and keep good belt tension. Save your pennies until you can get a better SC.
