Cool Going to track after latest mods!

Well, it's been a while since I've been at the track (closest is 1 1/2 hrs away), so since I've recently completed new mods, I'd like to see where I'm at. I'm hoping I can update my sig by Monday. Any guesses what I'll turn?

What kind of intake and injectors did you have before? If I was trapping 112 I probably would not mess with anything!

My car is pretty stripped down, (2760 without me) and I ran 12.8 @ 111 on motor. That is with ported heads and intake too.

Actually, I don't think i've ever even seen an all motor injected 302 run over 112!!!

Cool

I was running my original stock intake and injectors at the time of the 12.5. The car, honestly, was running a 13.8 w/ minor mods (underdrive pulleys/3.55/K&N filter/f-g hood/lightweights seats/no spare)....it came very fast from the factory. I guess it was a "freak". My car's running light too. The track weight is about 3050 (w/ me in it). As for the trap speed, I was on slicks, so no wheel spin whatsoever.

Cool

id say if you run everything the exact same as you did when you ran the 12.5 but with the added mods then ud run a 12.2 or 12.3 but i could be wrong. not likely though

Results are in....not too bad, but not as good as I hoped for. It was a little hot for my liking (about 80-85 degrees), but no excuses. I made 3 passes, not as consistent as I'd hoped for either. 12.472 @ 115.....12.299 @ 113....12.568 @ 112. I was hoping (unrealistically) to get the perfect run and hit 12.0 something. Oh, well - at least I didn't spend my latest cash in vain and I can still update my SIG. Now....planning next phase!

I agree 115MPH is awesome dude!!! Are your heads or intake ported. Crap i'm only running a 108mph (without pulleys, ramair, FPR and using 19lb injectors or ported intake). Hopefully i can pull those kind of #'s with the above changes that i made over the winter.

Your car is light though 3050 w/.driver wow.
congrates.

Cool

My car is very light....3080 before removing a/c (and all it's hardware), front and rear seats, fiberglass, spare etc etc. It's all in the launch (not to sound overly simplistic)and then just don't over/under rev the car and bang those gears. I know my car inside and out, and I know exactly when I'm maxing out of each gear. And, w/ that 115, I launched at 3500, instead of my normal 2000-2500 and couldn't get out of the box as well as I should have. Seemed a bit high to me too....but I'm not arguing w/ it.
