Thanks Shelby!
I was actually working on my list when this came up. A couple of them(well all of them) are for personal reasons. Hey, chicks dig Mustangs, right? So here is my list, with short explanations: 10. 1988 GT convertible. First Mustang I ever drove. You mean I can spin the tires on DRY asphalt? 9. 1998 Cobra - First Cobra I ever drove. I went looking for street races, with a salesman in the car! 8. 1968 GT/High country special - Same as the California Special, but have only ever heard of one still around. 7. 1966 Shelby 350H - "Rent a Racer" Oh to be 25 in 66. I'd have been a Hertz junkie! 6. 1995 Cobra R - Antithesis of number 7, Ford only sold these to people with competition liscenes. How cool is that? 5. 1965 K-code. - "Hey man, your car ticks, add some oil." "Moron, I got solid lifters" 4. 1970 Mach 1 (351C - 4V) One of the rarer Mach 1's, a motor that just about everybody wants. 3. 1969 BOSS 429 - Ford needed to put the NASCAR motor in something, and Shinoda thought the outline on the fender would be enough warning. 2. 1965 Shelby GT350 - Made a legend out of a rebodied Falcon. 1. 1969 BOSS 302 - Enough said!

Sorry about the writers block. I'd try and help, but I don't know a lot of words. What are you writing about, not that I would actually be helpful.

Well guys, I hate to rock the boat, but if I'm going to come up with a list of my top 10 favorite Mustangs, half of them are going to be something else. There are 5 Mustangs that I would really like to have, but there are 5 other cars that I would really like to have, as well. Staying within the same general parameters of each other, these are my Top Ten:
1) 1969 BOSS 429 (hemi) 2) 1970 BOSS 302 (w/ a '69 crank) 3) 1965 Shelby GT350 4) 1965 K 5) 1970 Mach 1 (351C 4V) 6) 1969 GTO Judge RA IV 400 7) 1969 L72 Malibu 427 8) 1970 'Cuda 426 Hemi (dual quad) 9) 1962 Dodge Max Wedge 426 (dual quad crossram) 10) 1969 Hurst/Olds 455 Forgive me? Take care, -Chris

I am surprised that there has been such a lack of response. Hammer? Dan? Unit? Bueller, bueller...
Let's see some lists.

Oh, I thought this was going to be a cool top ten. Like the 10 MW girls you'd most like to date, hahahah.
Since this is specific to Mustangs, and I can read, here are mine.

I'm sorry, but that description is so close to perfect for me (I prefer the 70 Duster to the 73), she needs to be shot. Twice. My condolences over the loss of your ride. Take care, -Chris

She sold it in 1991 while I was oversea's. Put a lot of effort in the combo. Esp. the carb tuning, and the power to weight ratio and GETTING THE HP TO THE PAVEMENT. Swore I would never get that involved in performance cars again. That was until MAR 2002 when I bought the '91 LX on a whim. Nice, fast little car, but wont get crazy with it. Havent confirmed the internal engine mods the guy said it had.
The stang has got the blood boiling again. A another mopar is in the works. A 70-73 duster this time with a 440. Mopar Performance is coming out with a lot of good stuff. Shes still alive, but maybe she'll get hit by a bus or something. BTW my bible's while working on that Duster were written by a Ford guy. " Carrol Shelby's Engine and Chassis Book" written for direct connection. Still got them. PKRWUD i'll e-mail the mods this guys said were done to the engine. If you dont mind. Dont know much about fords. So u can tell me if he was full of crap. It does pull and hook-up extremely well.
