I have a question about the 2.3L...is it possible to find a dual exhaust conversion kit for a 1989 Mustang?

i was looking for a tranny for my 5.0 its a 91, and i was told that a tranny off a svo is the same and that it fits on mine just by changing the bellhousing, is that true?

Dual exhaust for a 2.3 is similar to the 85 V8 in that it 'y's at the tranny going back.

4 cylinder tranny will mate up as far as the bolt pattern but you need to be aware the pilot bearing on the 2.3 is smaller thann the 5.0 so the input shaft tip it slightly smaller. Also the gear ratios can be different in first and second compared to a V8.
