Default Nitrous Controller

anyone running a progressive notrous controller?
Does it ramp up each time you change gears or is it strictly time based? Any good brands/ bad brands? I have an 03 GT with a Cold Fusion Nitrous 50 horsepower shot and would like to step it up a little. A progressive controller would be a little more gentle on my stock shortblock. I'd probably go with a 125 hp shot max.
