1992 Mustang LX stalls intermitently -HELP!

My 1992 mustang LX 2.3L Auto, recently began cutting out while driving. Usually, I can put it in neutral, and crank it right back up. It will stay running, and sometimes won't do it again for a day or two. It always starts right up when parked. A mechanic convinced me to replace the fuel pump and filter, after finding no ECC-IV codes to blame. HELP, it's still doing it! Please give me advice, as ECC and igntion switch are less than a year old. Thanks AMFW

Clean your throttle body and air filter, give her a tune up, plugs, wires, etc...

Deff sounds like something a good tune up and carbon cleaning might take care of.

so does it die when idel or if you are on the gas.does it stumble or run rough befor it stalls

thanks for replying. it never stalls when parked, either idling, or when revved. only when drivng, no sputter or roughness, it just dies dead?!?!?!?!?

i deff. dont think it would be the fuel pump just give it a good tune up my mustang svo did that for the longest time but i just gave it a tune up and changed the oil and it ran fine and hasnt done since.
