Default 94 cobra idle

ok folks my car idles great at a complete stop, but when im driving down the road and i push the clutch in to slow down the rpm's jump up to 1400-1500. It wont idle until i come to a complete stop, then the rpm's jump str8 to normal 800 idle speed. Also i should add that i do have an IAC on there from a 3.8L v6 stang, same design and mount...is this the culprit?... i have looked all over for vaccum leaks so far have found none!! TPS is dialed in .98 of a volt and timing is at 12... any suggestions please this is driving me crazy?? THANX

The IAC could be it, try swapping out or putting a vacuum gauge on there, you should be pulling around 12-14in at idle....Let us know.

You can hook it up to any of the ports on the vacuum tree on the back of the intake, or look for a closed off port on the firewall to try. Good luck.
