95 gt help

i drive a 1995 gt vert 5 spd. ok heres the problem i was driving my car and it just shut off on me this had happened in the past and all i did was pump the gas pedal and it came back on. when i try to turn the car back on it kept turning over but would never kick over to start. the fuel pump does come on. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

you check your Distributor cap and rotor bug. mine had a problem with it surgeing out my "iac" was messed up. i took it apart and cleaned it and it fixed the problem
