Default 1.7 rockers installed feels like less bottom end

stock 5.0 runs good no lifter noise is this normal to have less bottom end, could it be just in my head?/did 0 lash then bolt turned down 3/4 turn.

Cool

I just had the same problems, made a change and lost bottom. I think in your case that you rockers are too tight. I use the roll between the finger method.

If you tighten your intake side down 3/4 of a turn, then only do your exhaust side 1/4. good tip that was passed onto me a long time ago.

I'm installing 1.7 roller rockers right now.
0 lash means the rocker is just tight enough so it will not rock, Right?
Also I went to 0 lash gave it 1/2 turn and they would push down on the valve opening it a bit, is this to tight

2nd are the lifters supposed to compress a little, because mine are not.
Thanks
