Can someone tell me if FMS Cobra 1.7RRs will fit underneath stock 1991 valve covers ?

If not, can the valve covers be modified, and if so how ? Thanks. |

I don't think they will fit, as mine didn't underneath 1994 covers. To solve the problem I just stacked two valve cover gaskets on top of each other when I put the covers back on. That gave me enough clearance. Hope this helps.

I've got a set of Crane 1.7 roller rockers under a set of stock 91 valve covers. You've just gotta take the baffle out of the valve cover and grind the mounting points down a little bit.

You know, at the time I did mine I didn't know about grinding away at the covers. They haven't leaked, but if I ever have them off, I guess I should go ahead and do it that way.
