1.7's with pushrods question
has anyone here bent any pushrods with 1.7 rockers? I'm thinking of buying some roller rockers and was very much considering getting 1.7's but i've heard alot about the valvetrain geometry going to hell and stressing the pushrods and cam. Any info you guys have is more than valuable to me.

I've been running the Crane 1.7 roller rockers for a few months now and haven't had any problems. The Crane 2031 cam is designed for them. The guys at Central Coast Mustang offer the 1.7 as an option on their GT40P engines, you could give them a call and see what their experience has been.

ive been using the cranes on my motor for the past 4 years with no problems. my rocker geometry is fine. the only problem i had was having to grind the sides of the tip for use with my retainers. my motor shifts at 6000 and has done so without a prob. if you have problems is more likely its somewhere else
