1/8th mile estimates

I am going to be running a 306, factory cam, ported factory heads, hedmann long tubes, wieand stealth intake, drag prepped 650 d.p., c4 w/ 2500 stall, 4.56 gears, and 26x10 m/t e.t drags. Any ideas on what it's gonna run? A friend who used to race before he crashed, says it will run mid 8's. I would like low 7's on that motor. When it needs replacing I will probably go with a blown 347 to get into high 6's I hope. I will be also adding subs, lower control arms and a roll bar.

'93 lx notch 4 banger (drive it to work currently), Using the 306, 8.8 posi, 4.10's, summit rear cover, elec. fan, cowl hood, wieand stealth intake, holley 650 d.p.carb., built c-4, e-303, full autometer guages, msd box, mallory unilite dist, and coil, roll cage, summit seat, subs, 15x10's in the back with slicks, skinnies up front, all in use for 1988 Hatch Drag Car. Hope to start running next year. Hoping for 7.20's after all is done with small motor.

I would say low 8 if everything is going fine. Forget about the low 7 second, you will need 500 hp at the flywheel and a good suspension to run that. Good luck!

Low 9's or high 8's in the 660' its hard to make something C4 with a lil stall run hard on motor.. you need NOS to make it into the mid 8 second range wll thats around here in NC
