Default Flowmaster 1 Chambers

hi everyone, i have a question please, i currently have the 2 chamber flows, but i didnt know until just recently that flowmaster had 1 chambers too, i looked into them and i saw that they were center inlet/center outlet unlike the 2 chamber flows i have now that are offset/offset. is it possible for me to put these 1 chambers on my 02 gt since there center/center?? also the reason why im not getting a offroad pipe is b/c im having ignition problems that ford cannot solve so im worried that my car might not start one day and that i have to pay a toll truck to take it to a muffler shop, pay to put back the stock h pipe and then pay the toll truck to take it to ford, its gonna cost me too much money, if it werent for these ignition problems i would do it, but its too much of a risk. anyways if you guys could please let me know if the 1 chambers could be put on my car and also if any of u know if they sound good would be alot alot of help, cuz im running out of options due to my problems, thanks so much everyone, please reply.

Those would require custom tail pipes. I think it would be more trouble than it is worth, unless it is a car that sees the track more than the road. I don't think it would pick up a big difference.

Actually my '01 had an h-pipe, meter, intake, 2 chamber flows, lowering kit and a chip. Ford fixed a bunch of motor stuff under warranty.

If you want a flow through muffler, get a dynomax of magnaflow. If you want it to be louder, just drill right into the 2 chambers you have.

Either way, the catted h-pipe is doing most of the muffling anyway.

Putting the 1 chambers on your car would be way to loud for the street. They are strait through so it would sound like you have open headers. I have bbk full length headers with an offroad h pipe and mac cat back. The mac cat-back is louder than the flowmaster 2 chambers. they are both basically equal in sound until around 3000 rpm then it screams.

First of all, 1 chambers don't even sound good. Secondly you would need custom exhaust bent.
Switching to 1 chambers is a mistake that a lot of Mustang owners make. Keep the 2 chambers and swap you H-pipe for something high flow. Your car will make more noise then you'll ever need.

I know everybody gets sick of these exhaust questions BUT does anybody have 3 chamber flows? I love the sound of the 2 chamber but they are a bit too loud for the condo complex I live in. I do want mufflers that sound good and are a bit louder than stock. What do you think? 3 chambers the way to go?

Why keep the 2 chambers until you make Ford fix your ignition problems. If one dealer can't get the job done, take it to another.
