Actually, this should have been moved to the Modular Madness forum, not Windsor Power.

Anyway, boost. Lot's of boost. Suspension mods, drag slicks, probably some engine mods.

500hp put you into the 10's? Man, that's askin a hell of a lot I think. You need the suspension setup right with 500hp.

SOunds like somone watched fast and the furious,
you'll need a turbo kit or a good supercharger 2-3000$ to build the power but the motor wouldn't last long. 500hp modular is only as reliable as its rods which are the weak piont of the motor, replace the rods and pistons and you should bec fine to 1000hp if you use the forged crank from a 4vmod. the motor shouldnt cost more than $8000 (including a port job on the heads) transmissions are another story the t-45 will have to go a tremek tko would do the job that only like 1800 + h/d clutch flywheel and bellhousing so round 3000? you'll need a good driveshaft that will need to be shortened cause the tko has a longer tailshaft 350$, and the rearend can hold the power kinda but a custom 9" would make a better in the long run that'll run you a good 2000$ and then tires which'll be a few hundred. Then you gots to talk suspention man youll need a good set a of drag shocks and springs and a poly bushing to keep the power on the ground at 10 sec you'll prolly wanna use a coil over kit but its not necisarry but it saves weight and less weight means you'll need less power and that'll save you a bit on the motor with a bit o practice that should be 10 for you my best guestimate would put 10 seconds in the 12-15000$ range best of luck

Just so ya know, fast and the furious was a fake movie. there are very few imports that are that fast, and those that are, aren't on the street. as skyman said, do you know how fast 10 seconds is?
