![]() I got 4 16x8 wheels about 2 weeks ago and just tried to put them on. The thing is when i turn the wheel all the way to the right/left the wheel hits the control arm. So it looks like i'm gonna have to return the wheel and get 16x7.5. I don't know if it matters or not but i had 225/50/16 size tires on them which is the correct size. Before i return them is anything you guys can suggest to maybe adjust something to get them to fit? oh yeah and i drive a 1990 GT, if that helps. Thanks

![]() Is your car lowered? mine is and i have 225-55X16's 16x7's and my tires rub the inner A-arms just slightly. You can solve this problem by, adding a extra spacer on each side of the rack and pinion in the boots. I havent done mine yet. But it should make the steering not turn as far, thus not rubbing the arms.

![]() Backspacing on the rim makes a big diff. Now I can possibly understand hitting the wheel wells but the A-arms??? Well, if they're hitting just ever so slightly, then I guess you can't avaoid it.
I don't know what your specs are on the rims, but I think they should fit if they were right-- I would think. ![]()
