![]() I need new springs for my car ('90 5.0 GT), but don't know which ones to get. I called a Ford dealer and they told me to look for a spring code on the door, I didn't find this.
What springs can I use on this car? I don't know anything about springs (I mean anything), but I do know people that can help me once I can tell them what springs I need. ![]() |

![]() You just want to replace them with stock springs? And the dealer didn't know the part#? What planet are you on?
![]() Why not take the opportunity to upgrade your suspension? A nice set of performance springs, shocks and struts will do your mustang right.

![]() I don't have much money.
The car was lower imporoperly, right now I scape on almost every driveway I enter and it rides really rough. I will want to put nice stuff back on, just when I have the money. Guy at the dealership told me it would be around $75 per spring, is that about right? |

![]() I bought a set of FORD RACING springs for $135 (new). They are stiffer than stock and lower the car about 1/2"-1". They are also variable rate springs so the ride shouldn't be that bad (I haven't put them in yet).
