Default 1994 Brog-warner 6-speed question

I saw that the Brog-warner 6-speed can hook up to the 351W and the 302. Since the T-5 can hook up to both the 351W and the 302 and it can also hook up to the 3.8L can the Brog-warner T-56 hook up to the 3.8L. The reason I ask is that My tranny is not going good and need a new one soon. I do not have the money yet for the Engine. So I want to hook it up to my 3.8L until I have the money for the 351W. Thanks
