1st ET's with new engine
yesterday i went to the track for the 1st time with my new motor:
347, Bcam, crane roller rockers, Full MSD, GT-40 aluminum heads, pullies,BBK equal length shorties, air-gap intake, 735 holley, 10:1 compression my first an best run was 13.7 at 103 with 3.27's an 28 inch diameter sportsman pros (didnt hook real well) |
that motor should go 11's.. once you learn how to harness that power you will turn down some real nice times...
take care, adam |
ya i hope so.. i thought my MPH woulda been higher, i think it mighta been cuz thosee damn tires were to tall for my little 3.27 not exacly sure tho.
|
yea man, you need 4.10's with that much motor!
i overlooked that.... take care, adam |
My daughters tricycle wheels are to tall for 3.27's at a drag strip with your combo ! Get ya some gears bud, then hang on. That combo unless your car weighs as much as a tank should run on the low side of 12's at least.
Try 3.73's or if its not a daily driver maybe even 4.11's Oh what the hell ... if you put the bottom end together with good parts, reinforce your seat so it don't snap off and put 4.56's in it :D All joking aside, decide what RPM your horsepower peak is at and choose your gearing accordingly |
well it makes power to about 6300.. with explosive bottom end.. im thinkin of some ET streets for next time..
|
o an speakin of bottom end, its got : carillo rods, Roush steel crank that has been cross-drilled an radiused, diamond short skirt pistons an mexican main caps. :D
|
Congradulations 5 0 guy, you know from here it only gets better
