Post How big of valves can I fit in stock heads?

I have ported the stock heads And I might put larger Valves in it, How big can I go and How much for it. I am going to a shop Wed. I went to the shop and the guy went home all ready. Would it be Under $1,000???? That is all I will go could can I get any thing done foe that??

I think you can get a 1.90/1.54 set in there on stock heads.

I really can't understand why you'd want to put all that into them. Even totally maxxed out they will only flow as good as stage 1 GT-40 irons or Gt-40ps at stage 1.

Why spend a grand on stock heads? Shed 50 pounds and pick up a set of aluminums that will outflow ported stockers.

Will it put out 320HP??? How much HP??

They should be capable when maxxed out of getting you 320hp, yes.

i've seen ported stockers go pretty fast, but some gt-40's would be just as much flow, and probaly not much more cash, unless this guy gives you a deal, friend was running 108 traps with ported stockers and cam 1.7 rr's, good luck.
