Default I've had the best of times,... now it is the worst of times!!

Hey everyone,

I am writing to regretfully inform you of the official sale of my '95 GT. We've had a horrible winter in Mass and I just got sick of not being able to drive in the snow. It was time that I got a 4x4.

I ask all of you to join me in prayer for her that she will find her way to a good home and a good new owner who will treat her as well as I did.

Not to worry though. When I start making a little more money, I have every intention saving up to buy an old fox body to build up as a weekend driver so I can still have some fun.

Everyone here has been so great and extremely helpful and I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the help that I've received.

Thank you all again,
Scott

Wow, here in south tx we are having a bad ice storm, us southerners dont know what to do when this happens, most city roads are closed, i should be at work, but dont want to even try driving my car in this.
good luck on the foxbody project.

Hey scott, I live in New York City, so I've experienced the same winter as you (the 2 foot+ snowstorm). I drive my car everyday to work with nearly bald rear tires (sometimes my foot slips and they spin and smoke). I also had the car my last two years at school in buffalo, so u can imagine what those winters are like. (last year we got 5 feet in 6 days!) Yes, mustangs are terrible in snow, but if u stick to main roads and drive REALLY slowly, you can tough it out man.

I agree, if that is REALLY the reason, by the time you sell it, the winter will be over, the worst is already past. I bought a $1000 4x4 truck to get me through the worst and it's been great. Just a suggestion.

we do what we want to do.....just make sure it's what you want to do....I have many regrets bout selling cars. I had a '66 Galaxie 500 and a '81 Mercedes deisel, bothe were in outstanding condition when I sold them and I wish I still had them both!

take care

Hey man, I live in newton now... and yes the winters suck... I even have two cars.. but my winter car crapped out so I had to drive the mustang around in the snow... but everyone's right, that's hardly a reason to sell it...though I would have to say, I like the looks of the 95 bodys, but there's some nostaglic value to the fox... who are we to tell ya what to do.. whatever floats your boat... we should hook up and go to epping this spring.. track opens april I think.
