Default 2 questions

1- Is it a good idea to remove the thermactor bosses in t he exhaust port of my stock head?

2- I need a cam&spring combo for my very mild engine

It consists:

-stock 92 forged pistons short block
-stock compression
-lightly ported stock head
-trick flow street intake
-1 5/8 headers with 2 1/2 exhaust
-9 psi of boost from a powerdyne

I want something that sound mean with great power from 1500 to 5500 rpm . So, a small cam with split paturn???
