Default Best Upper/Lower Intake Manifold???

I have a 1992 dark green LX 5.0 and was just wondering what the best brand of an upper and lower intake manifold was. I've heard Edelbrock but wanted other opinions. And do you know what the prices are?

Depends on application and what heads and such. I'm a big Edelbrock fan and you can't go wrong with their products, but also a good bang for buck on stock heads is the explorer intake.

Default Edelbrock

Another vote for Edelbrock here. I run the Performer FI intake with Performer RPM alum. heads and love the way they perform!

For stock heads, a properly ported stock lower intake will make as much or more HP and TQ than any intake you can buy. I prove that point all the time.

I agree about the Explorer intake for stock heads - very nice piece! But will cost more than I charge for a lower porting.
