Post 3.55 vs 3.73

Its now decent weather and I'm going to have a gear installed in this car. I used to have a 3.73 in my old Aod stang and I was pretty happy. I'm wondering, is 3.73 too much gear for a car thats eventually going to have a good solid rebuild with heads, cam, etc and a 14lb procharger? My ex-girlfriends dad is going to give me a good deal on his slightly used 3.55's. But I'm not going to cut corners, I'm doing this car right. Anyone think 3.73's will be too hard to launch? Especially on the street? I'm buying Nitto Drag Radials later this week... Thanks guys.

I think it would be great.... If everything was together along w/ the supercharger (supercharged cars have very broad power bands)
i would say 3.55.....but until you start talking 4.30, 4.56....not too hard on the street.
