Default 302 to 347??

hello i am new to this site but have heard of good things from others about it.

anyway i am planning to build a 347 but dont know what i need to get done to my block? Do i need to get it bored out 30 for a 347 stroker kit or what.
i have called some shops around me and they wont help unless they do the whole motor top to bottom.
so a little help would be great thanks

The block needs to be notched on the cylinders for clearance from the bigger crank, then balanced to i believe 28oz, so you'll need another flywheel.
Your better off getting a crate motor, or shortblock from d.s.s, then put the heads on yourself.
why 347? Id go 331.

yes i think your right, i have ben looking at there site i just cant figure out weather then will ship to canada or not? i would really like to go with them sence i already have a set of heads.
not really sure why i wanna go with the 347 over the 331.

They do you pay gst and ups a $50.00 brokerage fee .
Im in northern Ontario and considered driving and picking my short block up from them

ik this is a old ass post but SCREW the 331. 347 all day,it will cost like 100 bucks more to trim the bottoms of the cyls and get more cubes,and the 347 parts are like the same price.i wouldnt buy a dds
