Question Steeda Tri-Ax or Pro 5.0 Power Tower? Poll

Getting ready to purchase a shifter for my T-5 in my 93GT. Lets hear what opinions you have on these shifters and where the best prices are. Thanks for your input!

I have a pro50 in mine and love it. I have had the hurst and it's not even close to the pro50. I don't see how it can get much better then the pro50.

definitely agree with WADS56- i have had the tri-ax, hurst, b+m, and out of all of them the PRO-5.0 definitely blows them all away.

PRO-5.0 GETS MY VOTE

I think the general consensus is that all of them are a huge improvement over stock.

personally I have the pro 5.0 and it is a great shifter
never tried out a Tri-Ax though

either way I think you will be impressed

The tri-ax is more rugged and firm feeling than the pro 5.0.

I prefer the Steeda Tri-ax for drag racing, and the pro 5.0 for a daily driver.

on my tremec, i thought the pro 5.0 was actually more rugged feeling, but everyones entitled to their opinions. your best bet would be drive someones car with both of the shifters and see what you personnally like

Either way, both are excellent shifters and will offer a huge improvement over your stock piece. I have the Tri-Ax and love it, but the Pro-5.0 is also a good piece of equipment. ~Brian

You'll be happy with either of them.

Cool they are all good.

I have nothing but praise for the hurst billet shifter. I have never missed a shift in my 89 gt. I have granny shifted and speed shifted with the same results. No missed shifts and no tranny problems.

I've driven both and to me there isn't really that much difference but I decided to go with a Pro 5.0. They're both good shifters and you won't be disapointed with either.
