possible rare '85.5 prototype fox

Does anybody know if this gt 5.0 ho 4 barrel ragtop all original is rare? How would I know and does anyone know where I can go on the internet besides here to find out?

don't know if this is a prototype-do i need to get vin# off of motor? how do i get a hold of ford motor company?
