![]() I am thinking about getting a code scanner, but i only need one that does 94 to present Fords. The vehicles I would need to scan would be a 94 GT, a 95 GTS and a 95 Explorer. I'm just getting a little sick of doing it without one.
Can anyone suggest ones for me to look into and how much I can expect to pay? Steve |

![]() The ones at sears are the Actron Code Scanners! They are very good, and I have the code scanners and scan tools. Never a problem, I think I paid 30 bucks for the code scanners!

![]() OK Sears near my house doesn't have them right now and they don't know when they will get them back again. I was looking for something a little more serious, one that actully shows the code like the one speed pro used to put out, or maybe it was sealed power?

![]() Try your local auto parts store. My scan tool is an OTC Mindreader, and is pretty trick, but it cost me around $450 new, and another $350 (give or take) when I upgraded it to work with OBDII vehicles as well. You can buy cheaper ones at your auto parts store that will do what you want. Expect to pay around $200.
Take care, -Chris

![]() You can get the scan tool, and that shows everything. I got it off the actron website! Can't remember the price, it says on the site!
