Default 351W headers on 302

I have 91 GT, and I also have a set of brand new headers made for a 351W swap into a mustang, they are Mac 1 5/8" long tube equal length headers, I bought them for another application that I am not going to use them for now, what I am wondering is will those headers bolt up to the 302 in my car?

They will surely bolt to the engine. The 351 is wider...so they might terminate a tad different.

I'd try them...

Yep, they will bolt to the heads no prob, but you may not be happy with some clearances, like starter to header, etc. The swap headers are designed to fit tighter to the block.

If you do test fit them, please post how they fit.

I knew they were designed to hug the block to compensate for the wider 351 that's why I wasn't sure if they would work, thanks for your help, I will probably be trying them in the next week or two. later
