here is a list of my new 351w i built for my 68 fastback. i drove it for the first time yesterday and was quite impressed. please look over the stats and give your oppinion of what kind of horsepower and torque you estimate this combo should produce.

heads--69 351 w ported and polished with 5 angle valve job 1.94/1.60 stainless steel chevy valves with double springs, stock hardened push rods,chevy 1.5 cast steel rockers on ARP studs and comp cams guide plates

intake---holley street dominator high rise with 2 inch spacer

carb---edelbrock 600 mech secondary (waiting on my berry grant 750 demon)

ignition---msd pro billit distributor, msd 6al, msd blaster coil, autolite 45 plugs, accel super stock wires

exhaust---holley black jack full headers, h pipe, 2 chamber flows, 2 1/2 inch exhaust with 3" crome tips.

car has power steering,a\c,and alt on it

trans--68 c4 with stage 2 b&m shift kit (no stall)

rear gears--3.00

all estamates are welcomed
this is the first engine i have ever built and i did it by myself in my garage (minus machine work on crank,block,and heads), with pointers from friends and family

You better get rid of the chevy rockers! I tried this once and could not get rocker geometry correct without some weird pushrod length. Got ford rockers and with off the shelf pushrods everything fell in place.

cant i already tried ford rockers. they dont work on chevy valves. the chevy stems are shorter then the fords, so the ford rockers run on the top of the spring perch instead of the stem which can cause the keepers to come out and drop a valve down in the cylinder. i got very lucky and had only one keeper come out and found it on top of the head, so i had to go back and change all the keepers, spring perches and push rods because it ate some of them up so i changed them all.

my guess would be about 300-325hp and about 375-400tq.
