Post 3rd gear shift?

Does a t-5 3rd gear shift, feel like it clicks twice into gear?

It could be your synchros wearing out, my second gear started feeling the same way a few months ago then it started grinding every once and a while-usually only when going through the gears fast. Now it does it sometimes even when I don't get on it.

Well, my stock shifter is back in, also, my t-5 is brand new rebuilt, but what im saying is, there is an area where 3rd feels like it goes into gear, but i have to bump it up a little more to make sure it goes into gear, and using little force, i guess it's normal thats why everyone misses 3rd the most....

90dpscoupe-What type of synchros did you use, brass or carbon fiber? The fiber ones need a small amount of(this may sound weird)limited slip friction modifier to start working smoothly. The brass ones may just need a few miles put on them.

My dad's '95 does that, with 45K easy miles on it. Supposedly, it's a small "lockout" sort of thing, to keep people from banging third too hard and wrecking the tranny.
